Our coconut flour is GMO-FREE and is a natural and gluten free alternative to other types of flour, rich in dietary fiber and protein. In fact, it has the highest content of dietary fiber compared to any other type of flour. Also, it is a leader amongst other flours in its protein content. The general uses would include cooking, baking (pancakes, cookies, bread, and etc.), thickening sauces, gravies, and it can even be added to smoothies. Several tablespoons per day would make a significant difference in the daily fiber intake. One important thing to note is that due to the fact that coconut flour doesn’t contain gluten, it cannot be used as a 1:1 substitute for regular flour. It will require more liquid to be added to achieve the right texture in cooking. Coconut flour is ideal for people who are sensitive to wheat and are allergic to gluten, as it doesn’t contain this specific protein. It also does not contain any additives such as preservatives, acids, sugars or colorants. Organic Coconut Flour is certified organic by the Soil Association.

How to Use: you can substitute it for other flours when making bread, pancakes, cookies or other baked goods. Coconut flour tends to absorb more liquids than other flours. So it cannot be used as a replacement for the same quantity of all purpose flour. For best results, substitute 1/3 of a cup of organic coconut flour for every cup of all-purpose flour. You may also need to increasing the total quantity of liquids.
