Xanthan Gum is a food additive and gluten-free product that you may consume multiple times a day. When Xanthan Gum powder is added to a liquid, it quickly disperses and creates a viscous and stable solution. This makes it a great thickening, suspending and stabilizing agent for many products. Used as gluten substitute in gluten-free baking, Xhantan Gum improves the elasticity of the dough and gives a lighter fluffier texture.

How to Use: Xanthan gum is used as a thickening and stabilizing agent in products likes salad dressing, dry mixes, syrups, sauces, diary products, baked goods, frozen foods, fruity drinks. It is soluble in cold and hot water but it needs intensive agitation in order to avoid the formation of lumps.

Suggested dosages:

1/4 of a tablespoon to make about 150g of cookies

1/2 of a tablespoon to make about 150g of cakes

3/4 of a tablespoon to make about 150g of muffins

1 or 1,5 tablespoons to make about 150g of bread

2 tablespoons to make about 150g of pizza crust
